We are looking to hire a sales representative to sell and market our testing services to businesses, environment consultants, and individuals throughout Southern California and the Western U.S. The majority of opportunities are uncovered and communicated via outbound phone calls and/or emails. Scheduled visit are planned with new prospects and existing customers on a monthly basis. Initial in-person visits are scheduled and attended with a supervisor to assist with industry understanding. He/she will report to the General Manager and on-going training and necessary business expenses will be covered.
The individual should be well spoken with a solid communications (written and oral) skill set. A willingness to learn and understand laboratory terms and service capabilities while maintaining an aggressive "go get them" attitude is optimum. The sales individual should have outbound cold and warm calling experience; with environmental studies or understanding preferred but not required.
Compensation plan includes a salary with commissions paid quarterly. We have a solid track record and hope to find a wiling team member who is looking for a long term career.
